Privacy Policy
1. Who is responsible
Emporiant e.U., Wielandgasse 4/4a, 8010 Graz, Austria, operating the brand Advantx.app, is the controller of your personal data. Contact: office@emporiant.com.
2. What data we process and why
- Order and payment data (name, email, billing details, payment confirmation) to process your order. Payments are handled by Stripe. We never see your full card number. Legal basis: contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and legal obligations (Art. 6(1)(c)).
- Brief and brand materials you submit (business details, logo, colors, offer descriptions) to create your kit. Provided through Tally (Belgium). Legal basis: contract.
- Communication (emails you send us) to answer questions and give support. Legal basis: contract or legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)).
- Ad Engine (advantx.app/app): the brand details, logos and fonts you enter stay in your browser and are not uploaded to us. If you subscribe, we store your license key, your email address, the Stripe subscription ID and a random device ID for each device you activate (to enforce the 3-device limit). We check the subscription status with Stripe when you unlock or export. Legal basis: contract. We keep this data while your subscription is active and for up to 7 years where tax law requires invoicing records.
- Server logs (IP address, time, browser type) created by our hosting provider, Namecheap, Inc. (USA), for security and operation of the website. Legal basis: legitimate interest.
The Ad Engine saves some data in your browser's local storage (not in cookies): your license key, a random device ID, and the brand details you type in (colors, texts, logo), so you do not have to enter them again. This data stays on your device and is sent to us only when you unlock or export, and then only the license key and device ID, to check your subscription. You can delete it any time by clearing your browser data or by using "Remove key from this device" in the app.
This website does not use advertising or analytics cookies. If we add them, we will ask for your consent first and update this policy.
3. Who receives your data
Stripe (payment processing), Tally (Belgium) (brief collection), Namecheap, Inc. (USA) (hosting), and our email provider. These processors may be located outside the EU, including in the United States. Where this happens, transfers rely on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or Standard Contractual Clauses. We do not sell your personal data.
4. How long we keep data
Order and invoice records are kept for 7 years because Austrian tax law requires it. Brief materials and project files are kept for up to 24 months after delivery so we can support you, then deleted on request or on schedule. Email correspondence is kept as long as needed for the purpose.
5. Your rights
Under the GDPR you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, and you may object to processing based on legitimate interest. Email us at office@emporiant.com. If you are a California resident, you may also ask what personal information we hold and ask us to delete it. We do not sell or share personal information for advertising.
You may complain to the Austrian data protection authority (Datenschutzbehörde), Barichgasse 40-42, 1030 Vienna, www.dsb.gv.at, or to your local authority.
6. Changes
We may update this policy. The current version is always on this page.
